Heavy rain
Due to climate change, intensive rainfall, so-called heavy precipitation, is to be expected more frequently. This sometimes leads to flooding of land and water ingress into buildings. The reasons for this are rising watercourses that overflow their banks, surface runoff or a backup in the sewerage system.
