We perform hazard and risk analyses for all natural hazards. After an incident, we analyse the event and the damage caused.
Hazard analysis
We carry out area-related hazard analyses for floods and debris flows for you. Other natural hazards are analysed on a selective basis, whereby the focus of the analysis is not on a source of danger but on a localised area or site. Damage can only be prevented if the hazard is known.
Risk analysis
A risk analysis determines the damage potential in danger areas and uses this information to calculate the risk of damage.
We conduct methodical risk analyses for all natural hazards. To achieve this, we always use the latest methodology and work with tools such as EconoMe and RIKO. The aim of a risk analysis is to evaluate cost-effective protective measures.
